Elena Fink is an internationally renowned soprano whose career is marked by numerous awards and a repertoire of over 65 roles. In 2010, she was nominated as Opera Singer of the Year for her interpretation of Proserpina in Wolfgang Rihm's opera of the same name.
She has performed at prestigious opera houses such as Semperoper Dresden, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Staatsoper Hamburg, Komische Oper Berlin, and Gärtnerplatztheater Munich. Additionally, she has appeared at major concert venues including the Tonhalle Zürich, Alte Oper Frankfurt, Festspielhaus Baden- Baden, and the philharmonic halls of Berlin, Cologne, Essen, and Luxembourg. Her concert activities have taken her to numerous cities, including Bremerhaven, Bonn, Bremen, Dessau, Duisburg, Halle, Hannover, Kaiserslautern, Kiel, Leipzig, Lübeck, Mainz, Rostock, Stralsund, and Wuppertal, as well as international stages in Antwerp, Brussels, Luxembourg, Lucerne, Tokyo, and Nagoya.
She has collaborated with renowned conductors such as Christoph Meister, Hans- E. Zimmer, Hermann Max, and Sascha Goetzel and has been featured in live productions and recordings for Universal, Deutsche Welle, SWR, and WDR. WDR 3 praised her performance as Elektra in Mozart's Idomeneo, stating: "Elena Fink's Elektra in Mozart's Idomeneo is of international caliber."
Elena Fink is particularly known for her versatility and dedication to contemporary music. She took on the lead role of Annabella in the world premiere of Schade, dass sie eine Hure warby Anno Schreier at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein and portrayed Blanche in A Streetcar Named Desire (A. Previn) at Stadttheater Bremerhaven. She also performed as Princesse in Philip Glass’s Orphée in a model project premiere at Anhaltisches Theater Dessau in 2021. In the 2021/22 season, she appeared as Anita in Jonny spielt auf at Gärtnerplatztheater Munich and Theater Stralsund. Most recently, in the 2023-2025 seasons, she has taken on the leading role of Ellison Staverton in the world premiere of Septembersonateby Manfred Trojahn at Deutsche Oper am Rhein.
Following successful Japan tours in 2008 and 2018, she returned to Nagoya in 2020 for concerts featuring works by Wagner and Beethoven. In 2023, she performed a concert version of Fidelio as Leonore, as well as Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, once again in Japan. Another tour is planned for 2026.
Her recent engagements include Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus at Theater Lübeck and Staatstheater Meiningen, Die Lustige Witwe at Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern, and her debut as Mutter in Hänsel und Gretel at Wuppertaler Bühnen, followed by guest performances at Theater Nürnberg.
From 2001 to 2014, Elena Fink was a permanent ensemble member at Wuppertaler Bühnen.

She has been awarded many honors and awards.

In 1995 she won First Prize at the national competition "Jugend musiziert" and in 1995-1997 she was the recipient of a scholarship for very talented young musicians at the University of Music Karlsruhe.
She additionally received a scholarship from the foundation Walter Kaminsky and from the state Baden-Württemberg.
In 1996 she was bestowed with the Special Award from the Academy of European music and in the same year also obtained the Special Award from the "Deutsche Welle" which broadcasts their programs worldwide. In 1999 she received a scholarship from the Society Richard Wagner 2000 for Young Soloists and from radio WDR the 2004 Award of the Foundation Enno and Christa Springmann.

In 2010 she was honored to be nominated the "Opera Singer of the year 2010".
