Elena Fink's career as a spinto soprano is characterized by numerous prizes and a repertoire of over 65 roles. The versatile soprano was nominated as „Opera Singer of the Year“ in 2010 for her interpretation of the title role in Wolfgang Rihm's opera PROSERPINA. She has appeared in many diverse roles across Europe at major venues including Semperoper Dresden, Tonhalle Zurich, Gärtnerplatz Theater Munich, Alte Oper Frankfurt, State Opera Hamburg, Komische Oper Berlin, Theater Luzern and the opera houses Bonn, Wuppertal, Mainz, Halle, Coburg, Dessau, among others.

In spring 2019 she sang the main role of ANNABELLA in the world premiere production "Too bad she was a whore" by Anno Schreier at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Düsseldorf. She has been a regular guest there since 2016. She was scheduled to return to Deutsche Oper in 2021 for her debut as ORTLINDE in "Walküre".

Shortly before the 1st lockdown in 2020, she took on the role of BLANCHE in "A Streetcar named desire" by A. Previn at the Stadttheater Bremerhaven. In 2020 rehearsals began as PRINCESSE at the Anhaltisches Theater Dessau in the opera "Orphée" by Philip Glass, which premiered as a model project in April 2021.

In 21/22 she was on stage as ANITA in the opera "Jonny spielt auf" at the Gärtnerplatztheater Munich as well as the Theater Stralsund.
After the Japan tours in 2008, 2018 to Tokyo and Nagoya, the concerts with works by R. Wagner & L.v. Beethoven could still be performed in Nagoya in 2020. In January 2023, another Beethoven tour was held with a concert version of Fidelio/LEONORE and the 9th Symphony.
The current season 22/23 is also marked by the operetta productions Bat/ROSALINDE at the Theater Lübeck, and in the title role of „Merry widow" at the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern.

As a sought-after concert singer, Elena Fink is a regular guest at the Philharmonics in Berlin, Cologne, Essen and Luxembourg, as well as Alte Oper Frankfurt and Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, as well as at AMUZ in Antwerp / BELGIUM, TONHALLE ZURICH and Henry le Boeuf Saal in BRUSSELS.

In addition, her artistic work includes live performances, sound recordings and CD productions under labels such as Deutsche Welle, Universal, SWR, WDR with conductors such as P. Falk, C. Meister, Hans-E.  Zimmer, H. Max, S. Goetzel.
From 2001-2014 she has been engaged at the Wuppertal Opera as a soloist in residence.

She has been awarded many honors and awards.


In 1995 she won First Prize at the national competition "Jugend musiziert" and in 1995-1997 she was the recipient of a scholarship for very talented young musicians at the University of Music Karlsruhe.
She additionally received a scholarship from the foundation Walter Kaminsky and from the state Baden-Württemberg.
In 1996 she was bestowed with the Special Award from the Academy of European music and in the same year also obtained the Special Award from the "Deutsche Welle" which broadcasts their programs worldwide. In 1999 she received a scholarship from the Society Richard Wagner 2000 for Young Soloists and from radio WDR the 2004 Award of the Foundation Enno and Christa Springmann.

In 2010 she was honored to be nominated the "Opera Singer of the year 2010".
